Motherhood

My mom tells this story of  me:

As a little girl I came to her crying one day

She asked me why?

I told her

"People keep asking me what I want to be when I grow up

and I tell them I want to be a mom."

That was not an acceptable answer,

They would always say,"That is fine but what else?"

What else?

Really, I just want to be a mom.

To my little self-

I am so grateful for the Plan of Salvation and the Gift of Eternal Families.
