Moving

We are moving in two days!
Two days people!
We have planned and saved for this day for the last
5 years and 5 months and now it is here.
Packing is going well, we have the bathroom,
kitchen and storage shed left to corral into the cardboard.
I had pictures of all the boxes, but I unfortunately packed the camera already as well.
Pictures to come soon of the home, moving and Easter.
We are so grateful for this blessing.
We would not be able to do this without the many blessings
from our Heavenly Father.

When we initially began the home searching process we were sure that we did not want a town home!
As we continued looking for several months, and we had time for our prideful hearts to soften,
it became clear that a town home might be a great fit for us.
The housing market here is a bit more expensive than we were expecting.
Everything in our price range was old, in terrible shape and would need a TON of work to be livable.
We don't have a lot of money on the side to be pouring into these types of repairs.
Not only that, with Justin traveling frequently for work, we needed something in a safe neighborhood.
This town home in Sandy, Oregon worked perfectly.

As we came to this conclusion, we again were a bit apprehensive at the price.
In January our home was listed for 20,000 more than we were interested in paying
Then miraculously,  the price dropped about 6 weeks ago.
We were quick to put an offer in on it.
The next day ours was accepted.

We needed a safe neighborhood, relatively modern home, with 3 bedrooms, and area to grow into, and it needed to be in a price range we could afford.
Several realtors told us it was going to be difficult.

It was difficult and a struggle for several months.
As soon as this one came up at a lower price, everything fell beautifully into place.
I know the Lord guided us to this home, and this place and for a purpose.
I do not yet know those reasons, but am excited to find out
and to have a home of our own
where we can watch our family grow and learn.

Side story:
Natalie danced around in a pink tutu tonight, it was darling.
When I left to run an errand Justin put her in one of
his old John Deere shirts and made her pose with a tractor for a picture.
He wants to make sure his little girl isn't too girly.

This will be our fourth home in all 1,945 days of being married.
We feel so good about it and are excited to sleep under OUR OWN ROOF on Saturday night.
